in loving memory of
OCDT James Rigby

Each year, an arduous and challenging workout is completed in loving memory of OCDT James Rigby and is a tradition performed
by Echo, the muddies and the ADFA CrossFit Club.
OCDT James Rigby passed away on the 7th December 2013. He was enthusiastic about everything he did in life and approached every task with a passion that was unsurpassed. James was a member of Echo Squadron, 23 Division, a lover of rugby, a muddie and an avid member of the CrossFit at ADFA - this
Challenge is for him.
The workout is designed to represent his unstoppable energy, his service pride and his uncompromising trait to put others before himself. It utilises a number of core Army drills to represent obstacles in the path to retrieve a casualty. James Rigby would always push himself to help a mate in need.
